Newcastle Food Month
Newcastle Music Festival presented two concerts during Newcastle Food Month, continuing our inspiring partnership with the iconic FogHorn Brewery:
Opera at the Pub (‘The Telephone’ by Gian Carlo Menotti) – we welcomed Samanta Lestavel, Tristan Entwistle, and Claire Howard Race.
Jazz at the Pub (Heartstrings, with Susan Carson (vocals/violin), Heather Price (vocals/bass) and Terence Koo (keyboard)
Three concerts were held in early June, with artists-in-residence Acacia Quartet, soprano Chloe Lankshear and recorder virtuoso Alicia Crossley. Thanks to these performers for their wonderful concerts.
