THE NANO SYMPHONY
Tuesday 15 August, 7.30pm, Christ Church Cathedral
The Nano Symphony is all about creating another world for weary souls to escape to; manifesting a sound haven refuge from day-to-day noise. Their phenological music echoes the patterns of life and nature freed from the Anthropocene, embracing eternal rhythms and inspiration from life, light, darkness, distance and time.
Weaving live string and wind instruments together with piano and expressive electronics is Nano’s signature neo-classical experience. Audiences are taken on an immersive, ambient sonic journey to faraway places and times of lost feelings and fond memories.
The Nano Symphony’s sound has been likened to Joep Beving crossed with Jon Hopkins and Max Richter. Experience this incredible music in the soaring acoustic of Christ Church Cathedral, and let your mind roam free.
In this concert The Nano Symphony will perform original works from their latest album, on clarinet, keyboard, viola, percussion and samples.
