The Newcastle Music Festival Rising Stars program will continue in 2025. The program is an opportunity to encourage and support outstanding younger performers in the region (Newcastle/Hunter Valley/Central Coast) by offering a paid performance opportunity in a nationally acclaimed music festival.

SELECTION PROCESS:

A new process for selection applies in 2025.  In collaboration with Music Teachers Association (MTA), Newcastle Branch, nominations of suitable performers have been received. NMF will make the decision on who will be invited to participate from these nominations. Please watch this space for information about this year’s performers.
