The Gully Line Quartet was formed at the Riverina Summer School for Strings in January 2020. Named after the old tram line that ran through New Lambton, a stone’s throw from the quartet’s rehearsal venue, the quartet has performed with guitarist Andrew Blanch, and has made two appearances in services at Christ Church Cathedral. The quartet consists of Callail Rowley, Zac Choi and Matthew Banney, all members of the Christ Church Camerata’s Cadet program, and David Banney, the Artistic Director of the Christ Church Camerata, and Director of the Newcastle Music Festival.
