Mitchell Berick is a member of the clarinet section of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, a position he has held since 2010. Mitchell has played as Guest Principal Clarinet with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra the Opera Australia Orchestra, Orchestra Victoria and has also performed extensively with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

Lyric mezzo-soprano Linda Barcan trained in theatre and singing voice at the University of Newcastle, the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. Linda will perform with renowned pianist, Coady Green.

Greg Smith is an avid accompanist and enjoys the wide range of repertoire and the opportunity to collaborate with the brilliant musicians he encounters in that role. He has worked as a repetiteur for productions, including La Bohème and Threepenny Opera. He also enjoys accompanying The Hunter Singers and the Hunter School of Performing Arts’ Bel Canto choir.

Gioia Barbera of Duo Mimesi performs regularly as a soloist and chamber musician in both Italy and abroad, within the context of renowned concert series. She has appeared for prestigious institutions such as Fondazione Gioventù Musicale d’Italia (8th edition of “Note d’Estate”), I Concerti del Tempietto, A.Gi.Mus. (Francavilla Fontana and Frosinone chapters), La Stanza della Musica in Rome, and Piano Lab in Ceglie Messapica.

Australian bass-baritone Christopher Richardson is acclaimed for his commanding stage presence and versatility across the oratorio and concert repertoire. A sought-after interpreter of the great sacred works, he has appeared with leading orchestras and choirs throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Michael Kaufmann is an Australian tenor, currently based in Sydney. Originally from Canberra, Michael completed a Masters degree in the Sydney Conservatorium Opera School in 2023. n 2026, Michael joins the Opera Australia Chorus for the centenary production of Puccini’s Turandot. Michael appears in Opera Cocktails for Newcastle Music Festival in August.
