Song of the Earth

Mahler’s extraordinary music “Song of the Earth” is perhaps the greatest song cycle of the 20th century. It captures the essence of the very human struggle that unites us, and ultimately, the quiet ecstasy of acceptance bringing inner peace. Performed by Opera Australia artists Iain Henderson and Genevieve Dickson, with Jonathan Wilson on piano using the score for piano and voice arranged by Mahler’s himself.
