Newcastle’s Christ Church Camerata was founded in 2009 by David Banney, Peta Dries, Helentherese Good and Peter Guy, making its home at Newcastle’s iconic Christ Church Cathedral. Showcasing the best of Newcastle’s local music talent, the Camerata welcomes international guests, and has performed under the baton of our Patron, Géza Szilvay, and with Australian pianist Roger Woodward. The Camerata Quartet is drawn from principal players of the ensemble.
